Care Farm

Care farming means the therapeutic use of farming practices. It's sometimes called social farming. Care farming sits amongst other nature-based therapies that are collectively called 'green care'. Green care means structured nature programmes for people with a defined need to benefit health, social care or education outcomes.

Volunteering

At the farm we welcome volunteers of all ages
Sundays 12-4pm

There are always lots of jobs to do on the farm so we love having volunteers muck in and help out with the animals and jobs around the farm.  If you are under 14 please bring an adult with you.

Gardening

Do you prefer veggies to animals?
Join the gardening group on Sundays 12-4pm

If you are more into Grow Your Own then there's plenty to do in the polytunnel and the community garden where we have our raised beds.

Just turn up and join in.  It's very informal and everyone is welcome.
